About
This extra old agricultural rum is aged in our cellar for over ten years, initially in new French oak barrels and subsequently in older barrels known as “fûts roux”.
Flavours
This is a rum that combines finesse, power and freshness.  Its distinctive iodised notes are characteristic of Isautier’s aged rums and harmonise perfectly with notes of fruits and spices.  The generous, complex notes epitomise a fine, aged rum.  On the nose, the aromas are rich, spicy and peppery with hints of crystallised fruits and ripe banana.  Delightfully smooth on the palate, there is a perfect balance between the freshness of citrus zest and the roundness of vanilla.
Serving suggestions
Delectable savoured as an aperitif or digestif.  Serve at room temperature in a stemmed glass.  Also delicious paired with a quality hazelnut chocolate!
