This outstanding traditional molasses-based rum is nurtured for over seven years in our cellar, initially in new French oak barrels, followed by ageing in older barrels known as “fûts roux”.Flavours
This very old rum offers exuberant flavours: it is rich, generous and vibrant with particularly fruity notes. On the nose, the aromas of ripe fruits, crystalised fruits and citrus fruits blend with lightly toasted and vanilla notes. On the palate, this rum is lavish, well-rounded and smooth, with a perfect balance between elegant fruit flavours and aromatic spices such as ginger. Deliciously oaky, fruity and fine menthol flavours give a sensation of aromatic freshness on the pleasingly long finish.Serving suggestions
Delightful served as an aperitif or digestif. Serve at room temperature in a stemmed glass. Also… a fine accompaniment to sliced smoked tuna!
